Role and responsibilities
- Oversee operations workflow and assist the team with executing transactions and related processes
- Monitor and coordinate the operations workflow and support team members with escalated issues
- Process and reconcile transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Identify exceptions and serve as a point of escalation; collaborate internally to resolve escalations and provide guidance
- May interact with external customers and third parties to complete transactions or resolve escalations
- Coach team members and provide applicable training; may lead team huddles, meetings, and continuous improvement sessions
- May provide input on team member performance and development
- Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers; review existing processes, recommend improvements, and assist with implementation
- Provide input and may update standard operating procedures; participate in projects as a subject matter resource
- Review transactions and related documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to service levels and procedures
- Review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance; participate in risk mitigation activities
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of procedures
