River City Roofing Company, Inc. is a fast-growing roofing contractor seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations. This role will be pivotal for accurate job costing, overseeing accounting activities, producing reliable financial reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Position Summary

The CFO reports directly to the President and will manage financial reporting, provide strategic financial support, oversee job costing, and handle compliance and risk management while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the accounting functions within a dynamic, expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-range financial strategies and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support company growth.
• Manage cash flow, financial risk, and investment strategies to optimize profitability.
• Create, manage, and update company-wide budgets aligned with the project pipeline.
• Maintain integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in all financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with the President and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, manage filings, and uphold internal controls.
• Implement and enhance financial policies, internal controls, and reporting systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with preference for contractor industry exposure and at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
