Overview

In this role you will deepen client relationships by collaborating with peers across banking, lending and investing to support both short and long term financial goals.

What You Will Do

  • Develop consultative relationships with small business clients in your target market whose annual revenues range from $1,000,000 to $10,000,000.
  • Understand client needs, deliver value added solutions, manage a portfolio of existing customers, and drive new commercial relationships.
  • Collaborate with an award winning business banking team offering a broad suite of product solutions to enhance the customer experience, loyalty, and the profitability of both customers and the Bank.
  • Complete Business Banking University and Drive Sales training during your initial four week orientation, along with a commercial credit training program to identify, assess and mitigate lending risk.
  • Maintain robust market knowledge and grow relationships with Centers of Influence such as CPAs and Attorneys.
  • Actively participate in community activities to broaden the potential customer base.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Two or more years in a Business Banking Relationship Manager role or related business lending experience preferred.
  • Business-to-Business sales experience is required.
  • Motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership and the ability to work within a team.
  • Capable of succeeding in a fast paced, demanding sales culture with defined routines and targets for new loan and deposit generation, cross sales, and customer service/satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with portfolio and account management is preferred.
  • Ability to understand core business products and services with a proven record of sales and outside calling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Hours and Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
