Audit/Financial Operations Support Consultant

Role Overview

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team partners with chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams to define and execute finance and global business services strategies. You will collaborate with leading teams and solutions, guiding clients through challenging environments, market volatility, technology developments, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your responsibilities may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we work together to transform finance.

What You'll Do

• Support financial operations for classified programs.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective financial processes and internal controls tailored to the unique needs of classified programs.
• Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and safeguard sensitive financial information.

Our Controllership and Treasury Transformation offering modernizes the finance function to support the evolving objectives of the organization. We collaborate with the CFO, CAO, controller, and treasurer to create an efficient, high-quality, data-driven, tech-enabled controllership and treasury function that helps our clients deliver greater value to their business partners and investors.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• 2+ years of financial management or accounting experience, including familiarity with government financial regulations, audit standards, and internal controls
• Ability to work onsite 80% of the time in Arlington, VA
• Travel 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

• CPA, CDFM, or CGFM preferred
• Previous FIAR, or financial reporting experience preferred
