Responsibilities
- Oversee the profitable execution of fixed income securities purchases and sales to meet the needs of investment portfolio managers, investment managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Enter buy and sell orders for fixed income securities at advantageous prices, considering order size, available supply, and current market conditions.
- Maintain awareness of developments and trends in corporate and specialized securities markets to anticipate changes and support timely planning and execution.
- Ensure accurate and compliant transaction processing by maintaining detailed records in line with established policies and procedures.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with brokers and securities dealers, negotiating commissions and discounts as appropriate.
- Provide investment and company management teams with timely, accurate insights and recommendations related to market trends, trading activity, fixed income pricing, price volatility, and transaction timing.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months to two years of trading experience within the investment and securities industry
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; concentrations in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field are strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of fixed income securities, related markets, trading characteristics, and factors influencing price trends
- Basic proficiency in trading techniques and methodologies
- Experience valuing and pricing fixed income securities
- Understanding of trade related activities across securities exchange floors and electronic trading systems
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Schedule and Location
The role offers a hybrid or flexible schedule, with an in office expectation of three or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location on other days.

Salary
Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
