Role Overview

The Associate -or- Senior Associate, Fund Financial Operations is a vital member of Corporate Finance's Fund Financial Operations (FFO) team. The role centers on delivering quarterly investor reports for sponsored commingled funds and separate account vehicles, as well as handling recurring and ad-hoc operational and financial data requests from current and prospective investors and the consulting community. The position ensures investors receive accurate, timely, and courteous information, and supports other teams with data to aid firm operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary communication point between the firm and investors for their respective commingled funds and/or separate accounts.
  • Review Fund Financial Statements, fees, and carried-interest calculations prepared by the Fund Administrator.
  • Address recurring and ad-hoc investor and consultant inquiries, surveys, and questionnaires related to operational and financial information; interpret requests, coordinate data collection across teams, and deliver the required disclosures with consistency and proper disclosures.
  • Produce quarterly investor reports in Workiva by collaborating closely with Portfolio Management, Fund Administrator, Asset Management, and other teams to assemble and process operational and financial data required for disclosure.
  • Assist with reviewing capital calls, distributions, and other investor communications.
  • Maintain data accuracy for assigned commingled funds and/or separate accounts and investors in the Juniper Square investor portal.
  • Liaise with other FFO team members to implement process efficiencies that ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption of best practices across the team and firm.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in investment, fund, and/or investor reporting.
  • Real estate private equity experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Workiva, Juniper Square, and Yardi preferred.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time.
