Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our team and serve our existing clients and warm prospects. The role provides room for growth and learning in the near term, as we invest in your development and career progression.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000 – $90,000, depending on experience
  • 4 weeks of PTO plus 10 paid holidays

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients' financial planning inquiries via phone or email, ensuring clients understand their options and the implications of recommended planning strategies
  • Prepare for and participate in semi-annual review meetings with clients
  • Create and update financial plans for clients and present them in client meetings
  • Collaborate with outside consultants on tax, insurance, and mortgage to optimize client outcomes
  • Coordinate with the Client Service team to ensure data and document requests are fulfilled
  • Assist with trading and rebalancing client accounts

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience
  • CFP designation, or currently enrolled in a CFP program
  • Desire to expand knowledge of tax and executive compensation and progress through related designations
  • Ability to manage your own workload – we do not micromanage
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to track outstanding tasks to ensure strong follow-through for clients
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with our systems is not required, but a plus: Wealthbox, Advyzon, AssetMap, Holistiplan, Pontera, Jump, TaxStatus, Trayecto, Schwab Advisor Center

The Process

Qualified candidates will begin with a 15 to 30 minute Zoom interview conducted by our consultant who serves as the hiring manager for this role. If there is alignment, you will complete a Career History Form. If selected to advance, you will be invited for an interview with the advisors and may be asked to complete assessments.
