Position overview
The Associate Director of Public Health – Finance supports administrative and logistical operations within the Public Health Division. The role emphasizes quality assurance, accuracy and financial operations, and also involves budgeting, planning, financial analysis and accounting tasks. The position helps project and integrate the Mission and Core Values of AHF within and outside the Public Health Division and contributes to fiscal compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with administrative and logistical operations to support the Public Health Division's financial processes.
- Help ensure quality assurance and accuracy in financial operations.
- Contribute to budgeting and planning activities, as well as financial analysis and accounting tasks.
- Enhance AHF's reputation by projecting and integrating the Mission and Core Values within and outside the Public Health Division.
- Maintain fiscal compliance and analyze finance department policies and procedures, identifying opportunities and implementing corrections.
- Collaborate with PHD Leadership, AHF Finance, Grants and Contracts, IT, and HR as part of a close-knit team responsible for all facets of finance for the Public Health Division.
- Operate within a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
Qualifications
- Required: Degree in Finance or Accounting.
