Overview
A specialized recruitment partner in banking is assisting with a search for an Agricultural Credit Analyst. The position supports a family-friendly, community bank known for its team-oriented culture. This in-office role is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with potential assignments at other eastern branches where office space is available. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with loan officers and clients to gather required documentation, make informed loan decisions, and provide leadership in training others. This is a role with final loan approval authority on certain cases, demanding strong professional communication within a collaborative team.

Location
Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is an in-office role with potential placements at other eastern branches of the state as office space permits.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and verify documentation for loan applications, with emphasis on commercial and agricultural loans
- Collaborate with loan officers and customers to obtain required information
- Make sound loan approval decisions, including final approval on select loans
- Accurately file reports and maintain data using current banking software
- Defend decisions in a professional, team-oriented manner
- Lead and mentor others, providing training as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong accounting background preferred
- Bachelor's degree minimum preferred
- 2 to 7 years of banking credit experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience using WebEquity is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to defend loan decisions professionally and work well within a team
- Management or mentorship experience, or the willingness to train others
- Capacity to exercise final loan approval on certain transactions
