Engagement overview

A downtown Milwaukee client, supported by Truity Partners, is seeking an interim Accountant for a full-time, temporary engagement estimated at 2–3 months, with a potential path to permanent employment. The role requires on-site presence with complimentary parking. The target compensation ranges from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balancing.
Process vendor payments and record all cash transactions promptly.
Support daily cash-management activities and liquidity monitoring.
Assist with month-end close procedures.
Provide general accounting support and assist with specific projects as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience (staff-level or general ledger roles) required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
