Blue Compass RV Kansas City is seeking an experienced F&I Manager to guide customers through financing options and protection plans at the Grain Valley, Missouri dealership. This onsite role requires a background in dealership finance or sales and a proven ability to close deals while delivering a smooth, professional buying experience.
The position partners with the sales team to structure deals, manage contract flow, and secure timely funding, all while maintaining strong lender relationships and a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Selects the appropriate lenders, secures approval, garners customer commitment, and coordinates final delivery
- Oversees contract placement with a focus on maximizing F&I PVR
- Collaborates with the sales desk to structure deals
- Ensures consistent adherence to all F&I office processes and contract workflows
- Manages contracts in transit and coordinates funding through ongoing communication with the business office
- Tracks F&I performance metrics including PVR, product penetration, and lender penetration
- Attends weekly sales meetings to discuss F&I training and issues
- Supports the General Manager and Sales Manager in training the sales staff
- Complies with all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3-5 years of working knowledge in Finance and Insurance products
- Menu selling experience is required
- Business management experience in the automobile industry is a plus
- Effective oral and written communication, strong time management, and a professional appearance and demeanor are required
- Strong closing skills are necessary
- Excellent organizational ability with capacity to train finance and sales personnel
- Valid driver's license
